URBANIZATION KNOWLEDGE PLATFORM UX AND UI
We applied the latest in knowledge management technology to better “make sense” of the World Bank’s vast stock of urban knowledge, such as through intelligent tagging, personalized search, and context-based discovery. End users of the platform would be the World Bank staff, practitioners, researchers and students with the purpose to facilitate, 1) Connections (in person and virtual meetings) 2) Open Knowledge (co-creation and curation) and 3) Open Data (benchmarking and open access).

CAMMONO COMPUTER VISION UI
Cammono is collaborating with Oblong Industries Sales team and iMotion to develop a software interface to detect decision-making processes during business meetings. We designed a head-tracking system that analyzes quantity and intensity of attention while staring at a particular part of the screen. I am curating the business and design development of software and hardware components.

"What is important is to understand oneself in relationship with another. Then relationship becomes not a process of isolation but a movement in which you discover your own motives, your own thoughts, your own pursuits; and that very discovery is the beginning of liberation, the beginning of transformation."

I was born in Italy the 20th of July, 1976.  I have 10 years experience as an Architect and Industrial Designer, 5 years as an Entrepreneur, Interaction Designer and Project leader. I am an artist, a sculptor and I enjoy to write songs. My professional experience can be organized in three life phases:

In 2012 I founded the Boston Entrepreneurship Center (BEC) to unlock the potentials of individuals willing to start companies. Since then, we encouraged and supported more than 100 people to design their first venture, and we helped founding 15 startups. As a founding member of IMPACT HUB Boston and a judge of the MIT 100K Launch competition I continuously mentor and give advice to early stage sturtup entrepreneurs.

I am the CEO and Chief Designer at INPULSE, inc. an information technology startup that designs and implements hardware and software solutions at the intersection of open data, Knowledge management, and international development initiatives. At INPULSE I curated several digital large-scale projects for public and private clients especially focusing on developing countries.  My main tasks are designing the technology blueprint, curate the information Architecture, and create a collaborative environment to bring innovation into complex organizations. We worked with fortune 500+ companies, large financial organizations, academic institutions, NGOs and early stage companies.

Prior to INPULSE I worked as an architect and urban designer with the R&D team of the Italian Architect Massimiliano Fuksas. At Fuksas I collaborated with the movie director Luc Besson to shape the Dolphins of the Euromed Center, and I designed the New Piaggio Historical Museum inspired by the organic shapes of the Vespa.
